We collect the following data upon registration: name, email address, postal code, dietary preferences (diets, allergies, dislikes), and household size. This data is required to personalize your weekly recipes. Your explicit consent is required at registration, in compliance with Law 25.

2. Data Usage

Your personal data is used exclusively to:

  • Generate personalized recipes based on your grocery store deals
  • Send your weekly recipe email
  • Manage your subscription and billing

3. Hosting and Location

All data is hosted in Canada (Beauharnois, Quebec) with OVH Cloud, in compliance with Quebec's Law 25 on the protection of personal information. Your data never leaves Canadian territory.

4. Data Sharing

We do not sell or share your personal data with third parties, except for services required for operation:

  • Anthropic (AI recipe generation — only anonymized deal data and general preferences are transmitted, without name or email)
  • Stripe (payment processing)
  • Gmail SMTP (recipe email delivery)

5. Your Rights (Law 25)

Under Quebec's Law 25 on the protection of personal information, you have the right to:

  • Access your personal data
  • Correct your data (via your dashboard)
  • Request immediate deletion of your data (via Profile > Delete my account)
  • Receive a portable copy of your data (via Profile > Download my data)
  • Withdraw your consent and unsubscribe from emails at any time

6. Account Deletion

You can delete your account at any time from your dashboard (Profile > Danger Zone). All your personal data is erased immediately and permanently.

7. Unsubscribe (CASL)

Every recipe email contains an unsubscribe link at the bottom. You may unsubscribe at any time. In accordance with Canada's Anti-Spam Legislation (CASL), unsubscription takes effect immediately.
